Agnes Joanne Reding, known to all her friends and family as Joanne, was born 81 years ago in Riverton, Wyo., to John D. Williams and Agnes Caddy.
She is survived by three sisters, Helen Girard, Tess Holiday and Sharon Lewis; and preceded by sisters Evelyn and Betty.
In 1950, she married her high school sweetheart, Burr Reding Jr., who died three years ago. Joanne spent most of her adult life in Gillette, Wyo., and, ultimately, Spokane, Wash.
Her greatest love was her family. Six children, Mike, Dee Ann, Rick, Susan, Mark and Dana, gifted her with 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren who were the lights of her life.
Joanne avidly followed all her children’s exploits, especially at sporting events, where she was knowledgeable, vocal and appropriately biased. She loved to laugh and was thrilled whenever any family member would sing.
We sing her praises now. She will be missed.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, and will be conducted at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Please visit Joanne’s tribute and leave a condolence at www.hennesseyfuneralhomes.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home, Spokane, Wash.
I am so sorry for your loss Dee Ann prayers amd hugs for the family.

Having lived only 5 years in Wyoming (1979-84) I came to know the Reding family through Rick and Cathy. Met and enjoyed the company of Burr and Agnes at different gatherings, and many softball games. What a beautiful family. Agnes will be missed. Jeff & Chris Thudium Friday, January 4|Report this
