CASPER, Wyo. — The Casper City Council is taking another look at the city's smoking ban.
The Casper Star-Tribune reports that the council will revisit the issue Tuesday at the request of business owners.
The council passed a ban on smoking in bars, restaurants, offices and other public spaces in June 2012. It went into effect in September after a failed referendum attempt.
The owners of bars and other businesses say they've lost business since the ban took effect.
Three city councilors who voted for the ban are no longer in office this year. Councilman Keith Goodenough has dissolved his limo service business so he can vote to repeal the ban.
