BURGLARY
JONATHAN QUEEN, 28, who listed his address as the Campbell County jail, pleaded not guilty at his arraignment March 4 to nine felonies. He is accused of burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary with Jeremiah Wise, Cody Ellenson and Andrew McNeil. They allegedly broke into the SKV’s storage yard in Wright in early June and stole various items, loaded them into the back of three Ford pickups owned by the company and took the items to Gillette, where they were stored or sold, according to court documents. The pickups were found later parked in the Jakes Tavern parking lot. The total value of the stolen items was $100,000. Queen also is accused of burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary with the three for allegedly breaking into Black Hawk Crane and taking a Toshiba laptop worth $300 and a safe that was later burned. He is accused of attempted burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary with the three men for trying to kick in a door at Winland Car Wash to steal money. He also is accused of larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny with the three men at Border States Electric, where two spools of wire worth $4,000 were stolen and later found in a U-haul truck in a Denver parking lot. He also is accused of larceny for stealing a 2004 Chevy crew cab pickup worth $8,000 from Black Hawk Crane, according to court documents. The thefts allegedly happened because one of the men was behind on his rent at the Volunteers of America community corrections facility and needed the money, according to court documents.
JOSHUA MICHAEL OTT, 21, 1575 E. Second St. #13, waived his preliminary hearing in Circuit Court and was bound over to District Court on Feb. 22 on a count of burglary, a count of conspiracy to commit burglary and a count of larceny. He is accused of breaking into a shop owned by Rebel Testing on Echeta Road on Feb. 7 and stealing the keys to a truck, and then driving away with the 2006 Chevrolet pickup with Gregory Toth. The pickup was found two hours later about two miles south of Sundance stuck in a snowbank and Ott was found sleeping nearby. The two had conflicting stories about how they got the pickup and who was driving. The damage to the pickup was $8,461, according to court documents.
CHILD ABUSE
DEBORAH SUSAN RENWICK, 51, 9 Driskill Court, pleaded not guilty at her arraignment Feb. 27 to child abuse. She is accused of biting her daughter twice on her arm or wrist, and once on the finger on Nov. 14 as the two argued over the loudness of the TV and the woman’s son, according to court documents.
DRUGS
ALAN RAYMOND ARGUELLO, 57, Moorcroft, waived his preliminary hearing in Circuit Court and was bound over to District Court on Feb. 19 on a court of felony possession of methamphetamine. He was pulled over Nov. 22 at Second Street and Rohan Avenue for having an expired license plate, but the police officer soon learned that it was a stolen plate. A drug dog indicated drugs were present and a subsequent search turned up 9 grams of meth in a jewelers bag and a digital scale in the care. He also had no driver’s license or proof of insurance, according to court documents.
INTERFERENCE
TIMOTHY DAVID ROYBAL, 19, 3102 Goldenrod, was bound over to District Court on Feb. 21 after a Circuit Court judge found probable cause to suspect him of hurting a police officer. His silver Mitsubishi Eclipse was pulled over in the Powder Basin Shopping Center on Nov. 14 but he refused to shut off the car or roll down the window despite several requests. He also refused requests to get out of the car and eventually sped off, running over the foot of a policeman, causing him to fall and hurt his knee, according to court documents.

Fines include any order to pay court costs, a contribution to the Crime Victim’s Compensation Fund and attorney fees.
