Evelene Fulton, 68, of Broadus, Mont., died Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at the Powder River Manor in Broadus.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Powder River Congregational Church in Broadus for Mrs. Fulton and her husband, George Fulton, 79, died Monday Dec. 17, 2012, at their home.

Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery.

Mrs. Fulton was born Feb. 27, 1944, to Fredric and Ellen Swope in Miles City, Mont. She was raised in Powder River County until age 11 when the family moved to Western, Mont.

In 1962, she and George Fulton were married at the Swope family home near Lonepine, Mont. Mr. and Mrs. Fulton bought a place on the Powder River at Moorhead, where they ranched until the present time.

She is survived by her son, Hugh; her daughter, Nellie Tandy; her brothers, Chuck Swope, Clarence Swope, John Swope, Lee Swope, Ronnie Swope; and numerous grandchildren.

Mrs. Fulton was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and her sisters, Fern Merritt, Kathleen Timlick and Bertha Goettlich.
