Funeral services for Frances Hays will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday December 27, 2012 at Gillette Memorial Chapel, Gillette, WY, with Reverend Gordon Harper of Vineyard Christian Fellowship officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. A visitation will be held prior to the service at !:00 p.m.
Mrs. Frances L. Hays, age 80, of Gillette, Wyoming died Friday, December 21, 2012 at Campbell County Memorial Hospital.
Frances was born November 16, 1932, in Kosciusko, Mississippi, the daughter of Milton and Geneva (Patterson) Hutchison. She graduated from high school in Barton, Mississippi in 1953. On November 6, 1954 Frances married John D. Hays and together they raised a family. Frances was a loving mother to her four children and supported the family business, Ideal Auto, as a bookkeeper. Frances also traveled the world with her husband while he served in the U.S. Air Force. The one thing in life she cherished most was spending time with her family. She was an avid camper and four wheeler enthusiast who also enjoyed crocheting and sewing.
Mrs. Hays is survived by her husband of 58 years, John Dwight Hays; brother: Danny Hutchison; sister: Vicky Beckman; daughters: Patsy Smith, Sharon (Mark) Coleman and sons: John (Lyn) Hays Jr. and Lee (Jody)Hays, all of Gillette, WY; grandchildren: Michael Boles, Autumn Barnes, Cortney Casey, Whitney Oster, Ryan Poppleton, Britney Boyer and Ariel Coleman; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father and by her brother Billy Milton Hutchison.
