Services for Jennifer Eilene Cook will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Roadway Alliance Church.

Ms. Cook, 33, died Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, at Wyoming Medical Center of cardiac arrest and subsequent organ failure. She was surrounded by her family.

Ms. Cook was born, Aug. 22, 1979, in Dickinson, N.D., to Michael and Dottie Cook. She grew up in western North Dakota and South Dakota. She came of age in the Ekalaka, Mont., area and has a number of friends there. She lived in the Gillette area for the past decade or more, where she bought, sold and raised horses.

Ms. Cook had a lifelong love of animals, especially her horses and dogs. She loved riding and living adventurously. She especially loved and treasured her boys, Austin and Ethan.

She is survived by her two sons, Austin Cook and Ethan Walker and by her partner, Eugene Walker; grandparents, Sparky and Eilene Nolan of St Francis, Kan.; mother, Dottie Cook of Gillette; father, Michael Cook of Idalia, Colo.; brothers Kasey, Shawn, David and Timothy Cook; sisters Kelly Walker and Cary Cook; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Lyle Cook, and by her maternal grandparents, Ed and Lydia Foster.

In lieu of flowers, donations to benefit her sons would be appreciated. A memorial has been established at Security State Bank for Austin and Ethan, in care of Dottie Cook. Condolences may be attached to the obituary at www.gillettenewsrecord.com.
