Jeremy Wade Sleep, 38, of Sheridan passed away on Dec. 2, 2012, in a car accident outside of Sidney, Mont.
Jeremy was born on April 21, 1974 in Sheridan to parents Alfred James and Doris Lynn (Mackey) Sleep. He attended Sheridan County Schools.
Jeremy enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, snow boarding, anything outdoors, playing his guitar and making people laugh. His greatest joy was spending time with and spoiling his daughters Tanner and Tori. He was working in the oil fields at the time of his death.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his father, Alfred, and grandmother, Jessie Mackey. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Doris and Leon Pehringer of Banner, Wyo.; his daughters, Tanner D’Lynn Pedersen-Sleep of Gillette, and Victoria (Tori) Renee Launer of Cheyenne; his siblings, Jessie Karen Sleep and James Dale Sleep of Casper; his girlfriend, Stormy Autumn Redman of Sheridan; and his uncles, cousins, nephew and many friends.
A visitation for Jeremy will be from 6–8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at Kane Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at Kane Funeral Home with Reverend Kevin Jones officiating. A reception at the Firewater Grill in the Trails End Motel and Restaurant will follow after the service.
