Memorial services for Julie Johnson, 46, of Gillette will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Gillette Memorial Chapel with Erik Bergquist officiating.

Friends and family are encouraged to bring guardian bells to send with Mrs. Johnson for safe travels.

Mrs. Johnson died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at her home of unknown causes.

She was born Aug. 7, 1966, in Valentine, Neb., to Frank Sr. and Betty (Sokol) Keller. She moved to Gillette, in 1978. She graduated from Campbell County High School in 1984.

In 1984, she married Richard Fruits in Gillette and they had two children. In 1999, she married Anthony Johnson in Corona, Calif. Mrs. Johnson later returned home to Gillette and has lived in the area since.

She attended the College of Cosmetology in Gillette and the Sheridan College. She worked for BNSF and Edelman Law Office. Mrs. Johnson loved riding motorcycles and spending time with her grandchildren and socializing with people.

She was preceded in death by her mother and great-nephew.

She is survived by her children, Kalyn Fruits and Kristain Schutt, both of Gillette; father, Frank Keller Sr. of Pine Haven; three grandchildren; brother, Frank Keller Jr. of Pine Haven, and sister, Kim DeCoteau of Pine Haven.
