Nancy Rowland, 69, of Gillette died Thursday, March 7, 2013, of natural causes at Close to Home Hospice in Gillette.
Family will spread her ashes at a later date.
She was born May 11, 1944, to David and Dorothy Rowland in Cheyenne .
She loved her 26-year career as a nurse and made a difference in thousands of lives. She also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Most of all she loved to be with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her sister, Dee Shake of Arizona; her close companion, Mike Riddle of Gillette; her children, Mike Baker and Kim Cook both of Gillette and Darla Gilbert of West Virginia; three adopted daughters, Denise Marshall of Nebraska, and Christy Lunberg and Stacy Reed both of Gillette; 22 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
