Ross F. Peterson

Ross F. Peterson, 78, passed away in the company of his loved ones on March 3, 2013.
He was born on Sept. 11, 1934, in Zurich, Mont., to John and Alta Peterson. He married his life-long love Phyllis Frieling at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fort Benton, Mont., on May 13, 1957.
Ross was a big, loving, teddy bear of a man who was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He was passionate about music of all kinds, especially singing with his siblings at family gatherings. He also loved fishing and camping in the mountains and doing crossword puzzles with his wife, Phyllis. His loving smile and humor will be missed by all who knew him.
Ross is survived by his daughter, Laurie (Scott) Hensley; son, Randall (Susan) Peterson; daughter, Gina (Jerry) Berlin; his 10 beloved grandchildren; brothers, Jay (Maryann, deceased) Peterson, Ralph Peterson, Lyle (Corma) Peterson, Neal (Claudia) Peterson and Keith Peterson; and sister Genell (Bob) Hardy.
Ross was preceded in death by his parents, John and Alta; wife, Phyllis; son, Scott Peterson and sister, Evelyn Peterson.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Rogers & Taylor Funeral Home, 111 N. 100 E. Tremonton, Utah. Visitation with the family will be at 10 a.m. prior to the service.
Interment services will be held at a later date.
