Turkey Trot 5K is Thanksgiving day

Runners and walkers who want to build up an appetite before they sit down at the Thanksgiving table, can get their exercise at the Turkey Trot 5K sponsored by the Campbell County Parks and Recreation Department.
The race starts near the WPA Building at Cam-plex Park.
Those who haven’t registered yet can preregister between 7 and 8:45 a.m. Thursday morning. The walkers start at 8 a.m. and the runners go at 9 a.m.
There is a $14 registration fee with a shirt or $7 without the shirt. Competitors will get the chance to win frozen turkeys.
