LARAMIE, Wyo. — Wyoming senior Chaundra Sewell is among four individuals selected to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association All-Region VII Team.

The honor makes her among 52 candidates nationwide eligible for the 10-member WBCA Division I Coaches' All-America Team, which will be announced April 6.

The 6-foot-1 Sewell led the Cowgirls in scoring (14.9 ppg), rebounding (9.7 rpg) and blocked shots (1.2 bpg) this season. She is also shooting a team best 53 percent from the field and 78 percent from the free throw line.

She ranked among the Top 10 in five Mountain West categories, both overall and in league play.

Sewell was recently named First Team All-Mountain West.
