Wingate hotel has new owners, may be in line for renovation

The Wingate hotel at 1801 Cliff Davis Drive was sold Nov. 30 to Heartland Hospitality, a Nebraska-based company that owns and operates 10 hotels of various brands in Nebraska.
Before the sale, the hotel belonged to Gillette Hospitality. Selling the hotel after several years of ownership is a common practice in the hotel industry, said manager Randi Sulzbach. More
